PETKIT Purobot Crystal Duo Covered Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box

The PETKIT Purobot Crystal Duo Covered adds a hood to the crystal-tray system, with automatic raking and camera records. Consider it if your cat uses a covered tray and you accept PETKIT-only replacement litter sets. Check the covered opening and assembled height before choosing it.

Check the covered fit carefully

The manufacturer’s text dimensions do not clarify whether they include the hood. Use its covered-assembly diagram to assess space and access rather than treating the open-top and Covered models as interchangeable. Follow PETKIT’s age and weight restrictions. Kitten Protection Mode disables automatic cleaning; check that no cat is inside before manual raking. Inspect PETKIT’s covered-model diagrams.

Choose the correct replacement litter

This model accepts only the PETKIT Crystal Litter Set, including the crystal litter and disposable tray. General-purpose litter is not documented as compatible. Each tray includes a disposal bag, and replacement frequency depends on your cats and use. Urine pH monitoring requires the PETKIT Urine Monitor Crystal Litter Set, sold separately; the standard set does not provide this feature. Check tray and monitoring-litter requirements.

Review recordings and service terms

Camera recordings can be disabled or scheduled. PETKIT states that footage is encrypted and stored in the cloud, and describes an optional Care+ upgrade for extended video history. Read current privacy and service terms before enabling recordings. Manufacturer-described monitoring alerts do not provide a diagnosis or replace veterinary advice. Check camera and service details.

Confirm the Covered retailer package

Use the retailer button to confirm the Covered camera variant, hood and included litter sets. An open-top Crystal Duo offer or manufacturer refill bundle does not establish this package’s contents. Compare the available variants.
